True friends share the burdens of life.

“At the Loft I learned to make decisions for myself without blindly following my friends or my family.”

-John, Game Loft alumnus

As young people mature they are called on to make major life decisions.  Who am I?  What career path should I choose?  Where will I live?  Who will I choose to spend my life with?  What makes me happy?  What would I never do?  Coming to those decisions takes years of maturity and many hours of debate.  Those deliberations can only take place in an atmosphere of safety and trust.  At the Game Loft we support inquiry and we listen to all the subjects that are important to our kids.  We believe that independence is a process and we help kids find the tools, both external and internal, to work through that process.
